Devon Van Oostrum, the young teen sensation out of Sheffield, put in a solid performance with the Caja Laboral ACB side on Saturday night in a friendly in Switzerland against Benetton Fribourg, finishing with 5 points and 4 assists.
He saw extended minutes (29) due to starting guard Marcelinho Huertas still being out in Turkey at the World Championships with Brazil. The game was a rout for Baskonia, finishing with a 102-77 victory over the Swiss side.
It is still undecided whether Van Oostrum will remain with the 1st team in the ACB for the regular season.
