The early remnants of Hoopsfix launched in the summer of 2009 under the moniker 'Ball Don't Brawl' before being rebranded and relaunched January 1st 2010 as Hoopsfix.
Since then, its traffic has grown to 30,000 unique visitors a month, with over 100,000 followers across all platforms and has been cited or had videos featured online at ESPN (TV, online and print), BBC, Sports Illustrated, SLAM Online, Dime Magazine, World Star Hip Hop and the Wall Street Journal to name a few.
Hoopsfix has become the number one authority online for British basketball, followed by not only British basketball fans and players but a number of other international basketball websites and writers.

Our Story
Hoopsfix was founded in 2014 with a simple goal: to provide the kind of basketball coverage in the UK that the sport deserves but rarely receives.
What started as a passion project has grown into the UK's most comprehensive basketball media platform, covering everything from Super League Basketball to grassroots development, women's basketball to the national teams.
We believe British basketball has incredible stories to tell—and we're here to tell them with the depth, insight, and professionalism they deserve.
About Us
My name is Sam Neter, and I am the man behind Hoopsfix.
Now considered a British basketball journalist by many, I was brought up on the courts of Eastbourne, East Sussex, playing for the now defunct South Coast Dreams in the Local league, before moving up to London in 2005 to study at Brunel University playing for the 2nd team throughout my 3 years there (making an appearance for the 1st’s at BUSA Finals ’08).As you can see, it got to the point I realised I was probably better off the court than on it!
As anyone who has ever stepped foot on a British basketball court knows, coverage of the Basketball scene in the U.K. is almost non-existent. With Hoopsfix I am trying to change all of that and hope that by the time I’m done the coverage and exposure the game gets in this country will have permanently changed for the better.
Working alongside me throughout the year is Bradley Gains, whose primary focus is on the women’s side of the game.
Hoopsfix Foundation
The Hoopsfix Foundation is the not-for-profit arm of Hoopsfix.com, with the mission of growing and raising the profile of basketball in the UK.
Founded in 2014 with our first event, the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic, but officially incorporated as a Community Interest Company (C.I.C.) in 2016, the Hoopsfix Foundation C.I.C. is where we try to do more than just create online content and instead make a tangible impact.
Our two marquee events every summer are the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic and the Hoopsfix Pro-Am, while also trying to act as a facilitator and enabler for the growth of the game.
