Surrey Scorchers are bringing back Lovell Cook for a second season.
The 30-year-old forward from New Orleans was the fourth leading scorer in the BBL last term, averaging 19 points per game.
“Iâ€
m excited to have the opportunity to come back to the Scorchers, especially after how last season ended,” he said.
“Iâ€
m excited to have a new start, I feel like we made a lot of big strides last season. I feel like I fit into Creonâ€
s system, I feel super comfortable. I canâ€
t wait to get started.â€
Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos added: “Once again this is an important signing for us. “When Lovell came in late last season he showed what he was capable of.
“I see him as a professional scorer, and I would expect that not to change.”
Elsewhere, Sheffield Sharks have re-signed homegrown product Nick Montgomery.
Wolves ride a Wave
Worcester Wolves have handed a deal to forward K.J Lawson from Tulane Green Wave.
The 24-year-old rookie bounced around during his college career, going from Memphis to Kansas to Tulane where he averaged 13 points and 5 rebounds in his final junior year.

Head Coach Matt Newby said: “Itâ€
s a significant signing and a decision not taking lightly. KJ can significantly influence us in a number of ways and genuinely compliments the perimeter and interior within our system. His pedigree is high order and I feel this young manâ€
s skill set and application will help us become a contender.
“In following his NCAA career, you will see a player who has been a constant and consistent contributor, buying into his role year in year out. Â I feel he will embrace his new responsibilities and seize the opportunity.”
Plymouth Raiders have returned Welsh forward Isaiah Walker – son of Lee, who was once coached by Paul James.
